*Ingredients :
°2 teaspoons coarse kosher salt
°2 teaspoons brown sugar
°1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
°1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
°1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
°1/4 teaspoon onion powder
°1/4 teaspoon turmeric
°1/2 teaspoon paprika
°1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
°1 teaspoon black pepper
*Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a quarter liter Ziploc bag and seal tightly. Shake to mix all the ingredients well.
Generously cover each side of the steak with spices and let rest for about 40 minutes. This allows salt to permeate through the surface (via osmosis) and actually helps break down muscle fibers, resulting in more tender meat. During this time, the initially appeared liquid has time to subside, making the meat juicy.
Once the grill is hot, place the steak(s) in and cook for 4-5 minutes, until browned and lightly charred. Flip it over and cook for the next additional time
